Imagine That

October 27, 2011

I've recently considered changing the name of "Charm Bracelet Diva" to "Charm Bracelet Diva {At Home}."  I say this because what started out as a vintage jelwery-making  journey has turned into so much more ~ and I think my blog's name should reflect that.  I'm just a tad bit afraid to take the leap, though.  What do you think? Have you ever had to change your blog's name?

Ironically, today I thought I'd share some actual made-by-me vintage inspired j-e-w-e-l-r-y creations.  It seems so long since I've posted anything other than DIY and my Club G.W. {Goodwill} with Charm Bracelet Diva Party.  I guess that's why I've really been feeling the itch to post about my other passion!

I've been getting into using text from vintage books (especially old thesaruses and dictionaries) in my jewelry whenever I can.  For this piece I used the word "luster."

Lockets have always been a favorite of mine.  Here I combined an antique brass filigree locket with vintage rhinestones, rosary beads and a vintage rosary connector.

And here I combined a vintage key, vintage rhinestones and a smashingly regal crown charm.

Gotta love the bling.

Thanks for indulging me.  And I promise the new floor reveal is on the way.

Don't forget to link up with this week's Club G.W. {Goodwill} with Charm Bracelet Diva Party here!

Have a great weekend.

xoxo

Kathleen

You have been busy !! They are all so pretty. Really like the one with the locket. I am working on one with a locket now, but have had to walk away from it for a while.
It is a good thing I named my blog what I did, as I ramble about a little of everything. :D

Oh, I love all of these but my favorite is the last one! The key and the little crown just speak to me. I'm excited that you're doing a charm post today because I'm reading a cute little book called "A Passion for Charms" right now so this fits in with my theme for the day!
I had to choose my blog address before I had decided on a name for my blog so my address is different than my blog name. It's confusing but I'm too cowardly to change the address to my blog name.

Hi Kathy, First of all the combination of vintage music and the vintage jewelry is beautiful. I have an "at home" name too. It suits me perfectly because that's where I am most content. Adding on the "at home" just brings all the things you love together. I say go for it you talented and charming diva! Love, Penny

Love those. You have the touch. Don't know about changing the name of your blog. That I suspect would be difficult. That certainly was a concern of mine that the name reflect what I was actually writing about. In the end I chose the name of the ranch, but often I blog about stuff I am doing in the city, so who knows.
