Easy Fall Floral Arrangement

September 1, 2012

Hello!  Are you ready for fall?  I am, and in a big way!  It's my absolute favorite time of the year, hands down.  Maybe I'm way too early a bit premature here but I couldn't help sharing this beautiful fall bouquet I picked up yesterday.  I just plopped it into one of my huge blue-tinted Ball/Mason jars that cost me all of $1.99 at Goodwill.  It didn't have the lid, but then I knew I'd be using it for a vase and wouldn't need the lid anyway.  Add a touch of burlap and you're good to go!

I experimented with effects in PicMonkey for this one.

Roses and alstroemeria.  I love the combination.

Life's been a bit bumpy these past few weeks so I apologize for not being around quite as much as as usual.  I have been thinking about you all, though!  My creative mojo definitely took a turn for the worse recently, but I'm hoping to get it back soon.  I mean, what good is fall weather if you can't take advantage of the cooler temperatures and start some painting projects in the garage?  Many ideas swirling, now just have to hit the ground running.  I hope you'll stick around.

The color combination is very pretty - you did good! :)
Nothing creative, as far as my home is concerned, going on around here.
Hope you are enjoying your weekend.

They're gorgeous! No, it's not too early for some fall inspiration, I can hardly wait until it's in full swing. Love the simplicity of this beautiful bouquet and the fun PicMonkey photos too.
