I pride myself on not being TOO trendy, but sometimes the latest trend just gets the best of me. Like owls. I mean, who knew that they would become so popular? They finally got to me, too, and I picked up a few little guys during some of my Goodwill thrifting trips. And I've been torn over what to do with this one.
He's 3 inches tall and fits perfectly inside another Goodwill find, my tiny cloche. The cloche had no base to it, so I purchased the little silver tray/stand to go under it at the same time. I believe all three

Okay, so there's this contest. I only found out about it a few days ago despite the fact that the entrance deadline was last night at midnight. It's an Ultimate Goodwill Upcycling Contest. Goodwill, you say? So how on earth did I NOT know about this??? It's a mystery, but now that I've entered...WAKE THE KIDS, CALL THE NEIGHBORS! I NEED YOUR VOTES!

Cloche Call: The Good Egg, My Version

I love Good Housekeeping Magazine. Every month they have something that catches my eye, and my imagination. Their April 2013 issue had a picture of this cloche in anticipation of Easter and all the home decorating that goes along with it. Only problem is, I didn't decorate for Easter this year. I know, I know. The Easter police will probably come and get me for saying that.
